The goal of the Pike Animal Shelter is to see that our
community has a quality, accessible animal shelter that is a pillar in
all animal welfare efforts and that adds value to the quality of life
in our community.
The Troy Animal Shelter Coalition which administers the Pike Animal Shelter is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization
formed in the fall of 2006 by volunteers with backgrounds in veterinary
care, law, nonprofit management and volunteer organizations. Having selected a site on the Henderson Highway central to Pike County, and having received the donation of the land, volunteers are busy finalizing facility plans and raising funds for construction of a modern, postive, professional facility.
We can't do this without you. Please take a moment to learn more about the need and the
solution, and consider becoming a member and Founder.

Why do each of need to raise funds?
Because the animals need us, and we can only do this together.Raising funds for the Pike Animal Shelter allows you to use your gifts — whether they are in baking cakes or building doghouses, caring for animals or teaching a class — to benefit animals in need in our community. Your investment can be modest, but your reward will be great.
